Great tournament this weekend! 🎾

We finished 3rd out of 10 teams, behind only Pueblo West and Palmer Ridge — and ahead of Coronado, Vanguard, and the rest of the Pueblo schools. This is the best finish for our tennis program since at least 2016 (Coach Hayden’s freshman year at CSS)!

Individual Results:

1S: Lawrence battled back to take a tight second set, then clinched the 3rd-set tiebreak 10-8 over Palmer Ridge, finishing 2nd overall.

2S: Ronaldo dropped his opener but locked in to win 4 straight matches, placing 4th overall.

3S: Leo went undefeated and claimed 1st overall!

1D: Ethan (with a sub partner) battled hard and placed 6th overall.

2D: Ben & Ben lost two tough pool matches on Day 1 but bounced back strong, sweeping their next round to finish 7th overall.

3D: Tyler & Mickey split their matches, securing 5th overall.

4D: Lucas & Louis pulled off a comeback win in their opener (3rd-set tiebreak), won their second match, and advanced into the top group for placement, finishing an impressive 3rd overall.

Fantastic job, everyone! We’re at the midpoint of our schedule — let’s build on this success and carry the momentum into the second half of the season, starting with Palmer tomorrow.
